Rules of Examination
ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE IN PRE-PRIMARY CLASSES

FROM CLASS I TO VIII.
                                   The subject passing marks are set at 40% for Primary section and 45% for secondary section however the overall aggregate percentage should be at least 50%. The promotion policy would be as follows:-

FOR CLASSES IX - X
•       There is no end of term test in these classes.
•     Class teacher and subject teachers are required to informally appraise and assess the progress of the children throughout the year. For this purpose class and subject teachers keep a record of remarks concerning the progress of each child throughout the year.
•     The results of all examinations will be final and irrevocable In the Montessori / Nursery, assessment is totally informal without written tests.
•     In the K.G Class teacher occasionally give small written assessment tests.
•     Each term test Reports are prepared and given to parents at the end of each test. These are compiled on the basis of the written observations maintained for each child throughout the year.
•     A student failing in any two subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and Urdu may be detained in the same class irrespective of the overall aggregate.
•     A student passing in the subject of English, Mathematics, Science and Urdu but failing in two other subjects with minimum of 30% will be considered for promotion.
•     A student passing in the subjects of the English, Mathematics & Science and Urdu, but failing in more than two other subjects,shall be detained irrespective of the aggregate
•     Students of class VIII securing less than 60% in aggregate& 60% in science and Mathematics will not be promoted to class IX.
•     Group allocation in class IX will be done according to the marks obtained in class VIII final exam and result of aptitude test.
•     For the students of IX and X, it is mandatory to appear and clear the preliminary examination with at least 50% in each subject as an essential requirement to qualify for appearance in the final examination of respective board of secondary education.
•     Any students of class IX if fails in any subject in SSC I Board Examination will not be allowed to continue in class X and his name will be struck off from the school roll
•     The attendance of the students throughout the year in conformity with the rules of Board of Secondary Education, i.e. 75% is also an essential prerequisite to qualify for appearance in the Board Examination. Habitual/Continuous absentees will not be allowed to appear for the Board Examinations.
•     Students securing less than 50% aggregate marks will not be considered for promotion.
